While our show is centered around the punchlines and physicality of comedy sketches, the song parodies have become some of the most memorable moments of our production.

And, honey, the mics were *hot* during the song parodies of our encore performance of Mighty Real: A Sketch Variety Show at SOMArts in San Francisco on Saturday, June 17. From the opening number (Krystina and Tisa’s lovefest in “Love Story”) to the finale (Karlina’s desperate Amazon subscription conundrum in “Leave My Account Open"), our skillful songstresses turned out one striking vocal performance after another.

Our cast and crew did their absolute best to deliver a powerful performance to you, our packed and eager audience. We learned a lot that night about what worked well (Mighty Mocktails were a hit) and what could be improved (quick changes be damned), and I can not wait to up the ante for the Los Angeles encore later this year.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE
This passion project would not be possible without the folks who have breathed life into our production. My biggest thanks to everyone who purchased tickets – some of you attended, others simply supported through sales.
