People of color, marginalized folks, allies, and local LGBTQIA+ organizations are invited to help shape the future of queer safe spaces in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In collaboration with Manny’s, a new civic social event space in the Mission District, Hear+Qwere will host its first networking mixer, Community Connection, on Friday April 5 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The event’s purpose is to engage with locals for better understanding of the social needs within our community. The goal is to unite and activate queer minorities through myriad initiatives this year and into 2020.
Is your organization looking to integrate more community members? Does your company have a Diversity & Inclusion coordinator who wants to exchange ideas with other D&I leaders? Do you want to spread awareness about your program directly to those who seek unity the most?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this event is for you. Bring a friend, tell a friend.
Hear+Qwere is a conversation event series highlighting and exploring experiences of the LGBTQ spectrum’s marginalized and most vibrant members. In only one year’s time, H+Q has hosted events and conversations and connected with people in seven cities worldwide.
Manny's is a centrally-located space that combines cafe, bar, and restaurant with a political bookshop and large civic event space at the corner of 16th and Valencia Street in the heart of San Francisco. The goal of Manny's is to create a central place for people to go to become better informed and more involved citizens.
This event is free. See you April 5th!
