Our first networking mixer welcomed San Francisco residents, tourists, Bay Area transplants, and four-legged friends; and we’re thrilled to keep the momentum going.

After starting with a conversation in a friend’s living room last April to now hosting Queer Community Connection in partnership with civic-social cafe Manny’s, this first year of Hear+Qwere salons and events was punctuated to perfection.

Thirty folks gathered inside San Francisco’s civic engagement space Manny’s on Friday, April 5 for Queer Community Connection, an action event aimed at planting social seeds for future collaboration endeavors.

Representatives from San Francisco AIDS Foundation, San Francisco Pride and Instituto Familiar de la Raza stopped by, as did local residents and Bay Area visitors.
