The Talent of VIP Honoree Brunch

TORY TEASLEY is a multifaceted artist hailing from the vibrant community of Oakland, California. As a Black transfemme and transwoman, she embodies the intersectionality of multiple marginalized identities and uses her platform to represent and uplift these communities. Through her music and activism, she gracefully intertwines various cultures and traditions, creating a space for inclusivity and celebration.

THE JUNIOR is an Open Format DJ / Activist who is native to SF. With years of experience in the community, she strives to elevate her work not only within the Queer community but Black and Brown communities throughout the greater Bay Area, with an emphasis on music as a form of therapy.

ASHLEY JAYE is the Creative Director of ItsQwere’s Mighty Real Sketch Comedy and a multi-hyphenate actress. She has created and performed three solo performances that hilariously and honestly highlight the complex racial, sexual, cultural, and religious intersections of mental health conditions and neurodiversity for herself as a Black woman.

APRIL PASCUA (she/they) is an artist born and raised in the Bay Area, and is currently based in Oakland, CA. She began writing and teaching sketch comedy in 2022 when she was awarded Killing My Lobster's New Voices in Comedy Fellowship. When she's not writing, you can probably find her on her couch, hyperfixated on a video game, or frenetically switching between her various hobbies.
