Partnership with Radically Fit Oakland & added comedians to Hear + Qwere’s Mighty Real lineup
The only thing better for your abs than doing godforsaken crunches is laughter.
So in the spirit of keeping things local, POC, and queer as f*ck, Radically Fit Oakland is partnering as a premier sponsor for Hear + Qwere’s Mighty Real comedy night, happening November 2 at PianoFight in San Francisco.
Owner Lindsey Page and the team of her Oakland-based body-positive fitness center, located at 1499 Fruitvale Ave., are supporting a set of tickets for marginalized queer folks of color who otherwise might be unable to attend.
Radically Fit Oakland is for all queer, trans, POC, big bodied and fat-identified folx and their allies, regardless of experience or ability.
In addition to Lindsey and her team being dope — more comics have been added!
Joining an already robust lineup of queer comics are Dominique Gelin and Sergio Novoa.
Dominique offers strong opinions on stupid things, -isms, and jerks. She’s performed at All Jane Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, and KQED. Dom also writes for local sketch groups Nice Tan and Killing My Lobster.
Sergio’s edgy comedic style will shock you and make you laugh at the same time. If it makes you squirm in your seat, he’s going to talk about it. Sergio produces multiple comedy shows and hosts ‘My Limited View’ podcast.
On November 2 at PianoFight, Hear + Qwere’s Mighty Real is a show everyone deserves to witness.
Benefitting Compton’s Transgender Cultural District, comedians from across the LGBTQ spectrum will share the mic for a night of punch lines for and by queer and trans people of color. Everyone’s welcome.
It’s a strange world out there — let’s laugh!
